Biography

Eileen Toomey has been published in Cleaver Magazine, Oyster River Pages, The Rumpus, The Tishman Review, Fish Food Magazine, The Eastern Iowa Review, and the Museum of Americana. Her poem “Immunotherapy” was nominated for a Pushcart Prize after winning second place in Cleaver’s Form and Form-Breaking contest, judged by Diane Seuss. Eileen resides in Red Bank, New Jersey, and is currently working on a memoir about her childhood in Canaryville, a neighborhood on Chicago’s south side.
