Become a Member
All members of book inc start by participating in one of our programs:
- Memoir or Novel Incubators (yearlong), for writers who are drafting a new memoir or novel, or,
- Book Revision Lab (six months) for writers who are revising a memoir or novel for publication.
To learn more about our programs, visit the programs page.
To request an application to either program, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once you’ve successfully completed a program, you have the option to apply to become a member. Membership criteria and benefits for 2023 will be posted soon.
Become a Peer Artist Leader
Along with program participants, we are actively seeking experienced novel and memoir writers to co-lead our programs. Peer Artist Leaders work on their own book projects, modeling their writing practice, cultivating a supportive community environment where everyone is an equal, no matter where they are in their writing journey. This opportunity is ideal for MFA grads and other experienced book writers seeking a teaching opportunity outside traditional academia, who’d relish the opportunity to guide and share their own experience with other writers, while becoming part of the book inc community.
If you are interested in learning more about becoming a Peer Artist Leader, please send an email to email@example.com.
Become an Intern or Volunteer
Another excellent way to get involved in book inc is to become an intern or volunteer, helping us with marketing, social media, and/or program development. Interns or volunteers can potentially earn tuition assistance for our book writing programs.
